My oldest started preschool yesterday, and my husband starts his (FINAL!!) school year in a couple of weeks. We’re slowly getting back into something resembling routine, and that means I’m taking another crack at the old blog.
Writing has been slow lately–possibly because I started rereading Harry Potter and that’s all I want to do now. Not to mention the fact that I have the final Jackaby book sitting unread on my shelves. I so want to read it, but once I do, it’ll be over. I’m not ready for it to be over. So I’m procrastinating via Harry Potter while secretly and obsessively speculating on Jenny’s past.
What have you all been reading lately? Any exciting writerly news? Any new books or agents while I was gone?
I know the feeling when you don’t want a good book to be over… 🙂

No way!!! Preschool?? Man, where has the time gone? I can’t believe it.
And you already know all my writerly news and secrets, so there’s nothing new to be said. 😁

Wow, a preschooler?! Time flies! Just finished another Kay Hooper SCU book and waiting for the next one. Ambitiously started the first GoT book–again. I read it years ago, and I want to read the series before I watch the show (yes, I’m one of the ten people who hasn’t seen GoT because we don’t have cable and don’t bother with Netflix, etc). I remember how complex (well, LOTS of characters and no character directory) it was. On the other front, you may have to keep an eye on my blog 🙂

Ooooh, I definitely will be watching your blog! I haven’t watched GoT either–we only sporadically have Netflix, so we’re generally behind on all the popular shows.
