Procrastination is the answer

Things I have done to avoid outlining the rest of my rewrite today:

  • Search for pictures of cool doors
  • Make Jello play dough (it still stinks like play dough)
  • Beta read
  • Rave about aforementioned beta reading
  • Check my email a billion times to see if my critique came back yet
  • Crochet
  • Clean
  • Open and close a bunch of already-rewritten chapters
  • Read blogs
  • Write a blog about procrastinating

Amazingly enough, that dang plot hole is still gaping. Maybe I’ll dream up the answer…

  1. Oh, this sounds so familiar! Well, except for the jello play-doh. 🙂 And yep, it’s usually when I hit a roadblock like a plot hole. Sometimes it takes a lot of procrastination before I manage to solve that hole. Of course, I get a lot of those other things done in the meantime 😀
